Widget, Facebook, an API
The crickets have been chirping here on the blog, but we’ve been very busy working on these three things:
FeVote Widget: voting on suggestions within the widget is around the corner! Suggestion sorting is also on the to-do.
FeVote Facebook Application: shhh… it’s been quietly released, but we’ve got big plans for it in the near future. James, you have been a tremendous help. (More on James later.)
FeVote API: We released the first version of our “Cross-Site Authentication” API today. It lets web services automatically log their users into FeVote — that way, users don’t have to bother with registering and logging in. (We’ve got a few things against forcing users to register.) There’s loads more still to come from the FeVote API that will enable developers to do a slew of other neat things with suggestions.
There’s a lot to look forward to!
